KBA Patras is a flexible, high-performance paper transport system that safeguards production by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of reels to the reelstands in a newspaper press line, with no interface problems. This is evidenced by countless installations the world over.

The standard folder for the Colora is the KF 3 jaw folder for a maximum of 80 broadsheet pages. For copies with up to 120 pages the KF 5 (2:5:5) is a popular choice.

The Colora's modular design also embraces press control and automation. Cutting-edge console technology and remote processing stations for the subassemblies support customisation and shorten commissioning times.

With copy-based operation (standard version) each printing couple is assigned automatically to the designated page. Colour and dampening are changed by simply selecting the relevant page and ink(s).

With press-based operation specific printing couples or press units are selected directly via the function keys with the aid of colour graphic data screens.
