Modern communication technologies form the basis for our "KBA Service online" concept, guaranteeing comprehensive remote diagnosis and maintenance. We have already gained a wealth of experience with such systems, having been the first to develop and implement optimised customer support in this way.
For remote diagnostics and servicing, every KBA Rapida sheet offset press since 1995 is equipped with a modem as standard. In the event of malfunctions on your printing press, you can reach us at any time through a service hotline. A qualified specialist is available to you there for consultation.
Benefits:
- 50% of all remote maintenance calls lead to solution of the problem without outside assistance
- A further 20-30% of the cases handled via remote maintenance are solved in cooperation with customer engineers or the press operators (only the remaining cases require the actual attendance of a service engineer)
- In approx. 30% of remote maintenance cases, it is determined that spare parts are required, though it is often possible, after corresponding consultation with the customer, to modify certain settings and thus to enable the press still to be used in the meantime
