Stitching is a popular and easy way to enhance your products. With KBA ribbon and section stitchers this can be done inline, directly in the press, which cuts costs and eliminates the need for a dedicated stitching line in the finishing department. So you can profit from their high precision to expand your product palette. And you have a choice of controls: either embedded conveniently in the console or as a stand-alone module.

You can expand your options even further by installing multiple stitchers. On double-width presses, for example, a section stitcher and a ribbon stitcher can be used simultaneously in collect production.

Section stitcher 

A section stitcher allows tabloid copies to be stitched during both collect and straight-run production. Section stitchers are generally located at the collecting cylinder in the folder. 

Ribbon stitcher 

A one-around ribbon stitcher can be retrofitted even where space is limited, since it is compact enough to fit between the former and the folder. In this position it can stitch every copy in the first cross fold, or alternatively every second copy. During production via two formers, ribbon stitchers can be assigned to either one ribbon or the other. On top of this they are easy to handle and maintain.
