Advances in electronics are taking place at an ever faster pace. It seems that no sooner has a new technology been launched on the market than it becomes obsolete. Electronic spare parts for older presses soon become scarce, and in some cases this can seriously impair the production flow. Our press and console retrofits can give older installations a new lease of life.
A press retrofit by KBA specialists may entail the overhaul or replacement of the motors, controls, software, switchgear assembly and governors or the entire system. A console retrofit may take the form of a new KBA desk with keyboard, trackball, electrical height adjustment and pivoting 19” touch screen, combining outstanding ergonomics and functionality. Press breakdowns due to console malfunctions will become a thing of the past. Alternatively we are happy to install new KBA control technology.
