The printing unit has a signal impact on print quality. A register with micrometer tolerances, ink density that is stable across the web width for the duration of the production run and an ink/water balance that remains consistent during press runup, operation and run-down demand the greatest mechanical, electronic and control precision. A stark contrast to the powerful rotational forces to which the press is subjected when in continuous operation at maximum load. So if your press is to deliver a superb print quality year after year, regular mechanical and electrical maintenance is essential. We offer you preventive maintenance services based on a detailed inspection of your press. We are also happy to submit a written offer for any repairs that may prove necessary, and send highly skilled personnel to carry them out.

We can do the following: 

• Carry out 10,000-service-hour inspections
• Overhaul circumferential and sidelay register controls
• Take Milligraph measurements for bearing status analysis
• Replace cylinder bearings and bearer rings where necessary
  Overhaul roller bearings and locks where necessary
• Replace consumable parts in the blanket- and plate-clamping systems
• Replace rotary unions for the ink distributors
• Rebed and seal ink distributors
• Check and replace bevel gears for vertical, longitudinal and horizontal drive shafts where necessary
• Check and seal pneumatic clutches
• Over/undershot ink ducts:
  
  • Overhaul duct rollers
  • Grind and align new ink knife
  • Repair or replace film rollers
  • Rebed duct and film rollers
• Organise maintenance work on main drives by manufacturer
• Carry out electrical inspection of and tighten all clamps
• Replace all buffer batteries
• Check and restock spare-parts store
