Capacitive-optical double-sheet detector

Rapida sheetfed offset presses can be equipped with three different double-sheet detection systems. In addition to the originally installed ultrasonic detector, a capacitive-optical double-sheet system can be retrofitted. This system is used above all for heavier materials. If a manual calibration is performed, the press switches automatically to the capacitive or optical detector. Simple switching via the press console activates the most favourable alternative for the present substrate.
