UV drying

The installation of UV drying systems significantly accelerates the curing of UV inks and UV coatings. The system is based on polymerisation, i.e. on the formation of long molecule chains. Photo-initiators in the UV ink absorb the UV radiation, whereby they are broken down into their individual components and trigger chemical curing (cross-linking). The UV radiation provides the necessary energy for the cross-linking process.
