Camera package
The camera package supports monitoring and stabilisation of the sheet travel through the press. In addition to the camera which is installed in the perfecting unit as standard on perfector presses, further cameras can be placed in the vicinity of the feeder or delivery, or even in the printing units. The monitor provides for selection of each individual camera, though a quad function equally permits up to 4 camera images to be displayed on the screen together. These images can also be frozen. With this upgrade, the operator is able to observe the sheet travel at certain points on the press from the console. Arising instabilities can be recognised in good time and the necessary countermeasures can then be initiated.
