Print clean

The "Print clean" option enables the ink remaining on the plates and blankets at the end of a production run to be printed off, thus eliminating the need for a full blanket washing cycle each time. To this end, the forme rollers are lifted at the designated end of the job, but the impression remains on to allow the blankets to be cleaned of the remaining ink by up to 20 further sheets. Blanket washing is then no longer necessary, or else it is possible to select a much shorter washing program.
