ErgoTronic ACR

With ErgoTronic ACR, the printer is offered an extremely efficient system for fast colour registration on the press. ErgoTronic ACR comprises a camera, an integrated PC and the corresponding software. It uses the camera unit to determine register differences and transmits calculated setpoints for lateral, circumferential and diagonal register to the individual printing units. From the two register marks for black and the corresponding spots for cyan, magenta and yellow on the plate, the console-linked camera is able to derive exact presetting or correction values for register adjustment. To be able to make proper use of the automatic function, it is necessary to overlay a special measuring patch when exposing the plates. In view of the required precision, the measuring patch can only be positioned adequately by way of a CtF or CtP system. With its 50x magnification, the camera can also be used to inspect freely selected areas of the image via the console monitor.
