Slitter ICS
The slitting system ICS enables the printer to forego an additional process step for cutting on a separate guillotine. Especially in the case of short to medium runs in both paper and board printing, this achieves valuable time savings. The cutting wheel is applied with exactly the required pressure via a precisely adjustable wheel holder and runs on a steel band mounted on the impression cylinder. The two halves of the slit sheet are deposited cleanly as separate piles in the delivery.
