Machine-Check-Program

The Machine Check Program embraces a check of the mechanical and electrical functioning of your press, alongside training for your company maintenance staff.

Benefits:

  • Checking of the press assemblies feeder, infeed, sheet guiding (grippers), delivery, and inking and dampening units
  • Checking and setting of optional systems supplied by KBA, such as blanket washing, fully automatic plate changing, extended delivery, etc.
  • Checking and setting of the brakes on main drive and pile motors
  • Visual check and settings for compressor and air pumps and for dust filters (switch cabinets, main motors, etc.)
  • Function check and test run
  • Rectifying of minor technical defects and damage
  • Necessary replacement of wearing parts
  • Determination of required spare parts
  • Testing of safety equipment (The status of the safety equipment is noted on the press report completed by the inspection engineer at the end of the inspection)

A duration of 2.5 days is to be planned for the checking of a 1 to 4-colour press, at least 3 days for presses for 5 or more colours.
