KBA sole exhibitor offering press demos
At the Pack Print trade fair in Tunis from 20 to 23 May KBA was the only exhibitor to offer press demonstrations. The four-colour B2 (29in) Performa 74 on its joint stand with Tunis-based agency KBA-Maghreb confirmed the wisdom of this move by attracting a stream of visitors from Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Senegal and Congo, who also expressed keen interest in a Genius 52 UV from KBA-Metronic. more...

Hansen: KBA on course despite soft demand
Since April German press manufacturer KBA has seen a major upturn in new orders for sheetfed presses, with business drummed up at trade fairs in the Middle and Far East largely balancing a shortfall in the first quarter. This was the message delivered by Helge Hansen, KBA president and CEO since 27 March, at the company’s 84th AGM at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg. Waterless newspaper production by the Rhine in CologneOn 2 June prominent German publishing house M. DuMont Schauberg (MDS) in Cologne rang in a new era in newspaper production with the official inauguration of a six-wide KBA Cortina.
